In recognition of the importance of youth to the future of our community, Richmond Hill has developed the Ann Gold Community Spirit Scholarship to recognize graduating high school students who exemplify community spirit.
Community Spirit is defined as students who take pride in their community, actively participate in school life, volunteer within Richmond Hill and are role models for both their peers and younger students.
The purpose of the scholarship program is to celebrate the students' achievements by assisting with the cost of post-secondary education. Five scholarships of $1,000 each will be available for five students in their last year of high school and who live in Richmond Hill.
